Colby Taylor
Estimator
Colby Taylor is the estimator at NPW contracting. He has 8 years of experience in commercial waterproofing systems and has been the estimator here at NPW since July of 2021. His experience in the waterproofing trade includes hands on field experience installing systems, evolving into project management and estimating. Colby has overseen successful projects throughout the state of Colorado, primarily in the mountain region around Aspen and the Denver Metro area. He enjoys the challenges of working on large scale construction projects and embraces the learning opportunities that each unique project provides. Colby thrives working with general contractors, design teams, and owners in a team centered environment to add value and improve the quality of the projects that NPW works on. He finds this collaboration process to be the most exciting part of the job. After work, Colby enjoys spending time outside and with his family. Some of his favorite activities include camping, hiking, and snowboarding.

Project Manager | Safety Manager
Having been with the Company over 10 years, I have had the opportunity to experience many positions with NPW Contracting, Inc. – beginning as Shop Supervisor and moving on to Accounts Payable and Purchasing Manager, then to Safety Manager and Project Manager.
As Project Manager, my previous experience in the field has proven a valuable asset when working with our crews and clients to coordinate our scopes of work, from pre-construction through project close-out. From small restoration projects, to large, multi-million dollar projects, I enjoy the opportunities to be a part of not only the growth in Colorado, but the growth and development of my team.
As a Construction Safety Specialist, safety is a passion of mine! I work closely with my teams in the field to help them safely navigate their everyday, real-world tasks. Safety is about so much more than not being injured – it’s about preserving our bodies AND our quality of life.
My personal time is spent with my husband, Jay, my teenage boy/girl twins, and Jay’s grown children. We LOVE to be outside in Colorado – myself more so when it’s warm! We love to camp, fish, and sit by the fire sharing great conversations. While I live in the Denver-metro area, I call Grand Lake, CO home.
Melinda Kelley
Assistant Project Manager
16 years’ experience in the commercial construction industry. In 2006, Melinda began managing a variety of large-scale commercial buildouts representing new tenants. In 2017, Melinda made the transition working on the construction side of the industry for both general and subcontractors. Previous experience as an office manager, HR & payroll manager, and project coordinator before transitioning to her current role as Assistant Project Manager. Experienced in managing commercial and industrial projects ranging from $500,00 to $2.5 million.
Melinda grew up in the foothills of Colorado Springs and holds an interior design certification. She loves traveling the world and spending time with her now grown children scattered across the US.
